Train ride along the frozen Lago Bianco!

Lago Bianco (also known as White lake) is situated opposite Ospizio Bernina train station in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland. Located at an elevation of over 2200 meters, is nestled around the Swiss alps.

The cool thing about this is the view and the train ride i.e., Bernina Express which is run by Rhaetian railways provides a spectacular view of the lake and the mountains. One of the coolest train rides I have ever taken!

It was winter when I visited this place, and it was then I came across the frozen lake and people were ice-skating on the frozen river which was very new to me. I, for sure, didn't even step on the lake then. Here's sharing a lil snippet from my train journey which has etched since forever! Hope you like it as much as I loved it.
